Where to start when starting over

Becoming financially independent

Outdoor Work Meeting

Coaching for people whose life circumstances have changed and left them financially independent, through situations such as separation, becoming widowed or escaping an unsafe home environment.

This area of coaching is for adults who have come to a crossroads in life, where they are in fact starting from scratch. Stiletto Staircase takes out the hard work of wondering and worrying, where do I start? I’m so overwhelmed with my situation. I just can't think straight. Founder Ayalah has been there! Whilst navigating a tricky separation, she saw a need to help others with the basic information on how to start over in a time of desperation.

Her philosophy is simple - “why should others feel like they are sinking, when I made it to shore. It just makes sense to throw my life raft back in and help the next person”.

Whilst navigating through her separation and consequent divorce, Ayalah tackled the issues of living with three pre-school aged children while unemployed, with no income or savings and no longer supported by her husband financially, and access to government services delayed due to covid and lockdowns. Ayalah had to navigate rental properties, legal bills, selling the family home, relocating, changing daycare and schooling for her children, getting into the centrelink system, seeking assistance from charities, opening new bank accounts, budgeting, new savings strategies, and finding paid work. How did she do it? Where did she start?

Well, that is exactly what Stiletto Staircase offers - answers to all those questions in a variety of formats, and resources on our website. Plus, we love getting out there and running motivational workshops that share all the ins and outs of starting over.
